The premature post exam fun

Wow, wow, wow.
Tell me i had an exam on monday, and on tuesday.
Tell me i am going to have another in 13hours time.
I wont believe u.
There is no way i'm gonna believe that...
cos this week just BLEW ME APART.

I am on a roll!
What felt like a whole month of holidays had only been say 5 days.
What a life i am having?!
Absolutely unbelievable.Am i in dreamland or something?
Cos i am completely ecstatic.
Let me tell u how interesting my week had been.
It was so engaging that i didn't even feel like blogging.
Too busy for fun.

Hmm, lets start with the most memorable day.
Thursday.
An enthralling day at Jurong east swimming complex.
When was the last time i went swimming?
Ehhhhhh, i dono.
But i remembered the last and first time i went to this place.
It was during my sec 3 days, there was a whole big group of us and it was one of those classic outings.
Anyway, this time there were only 3 of us.
From amk to jurong east and then to chinese garden station, what a ride?
I would have fallen asleep, just like how i slept on the train every morning when i was schooling at MI, but i did not.
Surprisingly(or maybe not), the trip did not seemed "forever" with the 3 of us yanking away the whole journey.
After like more than an hour, we reached our destination.
Excited.
Changed into swimwear and wow, i have sexy friends.
Hot bods, any girls want some hunks?
I have 2 to offer u.
Sadly, i pale in comparison and i am so ashamed.
I ought to be.

Well, as it was a weekday there wasn't many around.
I reckon we are the only "idoits" (if i could say so) that came all the way from amk, whereas almost everyone else is from the jurong area.
But being unpopulated was good, cos it meant that we could make more trips down the slide, not squeeze with everybody else and u know somewhat have the place to ourselves.
I'll tell u what we did.
We got ourselves some floats went to the river like pool where the current just keeps pulling u forward and made a few circles, flipped a few floats...
Then climb the stairs and hit the slides repeatedly until i wasn't afraid of it at all(i was kind of scared initially, as the tallest was like 4 storey high).
The top 2 which required floats were a considerable long ride down and due to the afternoon sun, it was humid and warm in the enclosed tube.
One could feel the hot and stuffy air as one sat on the float and journeyed down the long tube.
And the bottom one, which doesn't need a tube was 9.81ms-2, if u know what i mean.
In u go into the yellow tube and before u know it, u are gushing out.
Washed out!
Then we stormed the wave pool or tsunami pool if u like it, sat on the float while the waves shook it from side to side/ up and down, until i was like a little seasick.
There was also this water jets spraying water into the crowd in the wave pool, wohoo, the chilling water quenches the grilling afternoon sun.
Talking about the sun, I did NOT get a sunburn!
Yay!
I was so "kiasi" and i bought this sunblock lotion for 14 bucks and a spammed a lot of it before i hit the water.
And for once i avoided the sunburn while swimming!
That's a tip and reminder for u readers, sunblocks are mundane if u are prone to sunburns.
I am starting to love sunblocks, maybe i should invest in one for inland sports too.
Okay, at this point some of u might think i am such a sissy to apply sunblock.
Hey, hey, hey, this is an ex-odac pres giving u some oda tips k, ignore it at ur own loss.
lol.
I had my fair share of sunburns that i am not taking anymore chances, it is not funny to repeatedly get burned.
Its like when a potato, initially the skin sticks to it, then u cook it and the skin peels off easily.
And as u peel, u looks hideous.
Furthermore, repeated burning and peeling will get one skin cancer or an aging face in the long run.
No forgetting the pain and dehydration one has to endure during the post burn period.
I am so used that.

Moving on, we took a couple of candid photos b4 someone left us for selfish reasons.
Then the two of us went back into the wave pool and started doing retarded frog jumps to reach the ledge of the 1.7m pool.
Just emulating what others were doing, "ride" the waves and jumped to grab the ledge.
I even tried a pull-up to bring it a step further, lol.
Called it a day shortly after the sun set for the arrival for the night.
Headed down to Jurong Point(which was another wow! factor) for dinner.
The last time i been there was also ages ago and this place has transformed literally.
It was huge.
And the type and number of retail outlets were abundant.
This was like the Vivo City of the west.
We made a few rounds to find our way around and explore the place before asking the customer service counter for Jap food.
The girl was like quite "wth" cos i dont think i spoke so much like a mice that she had to repeat my request as if i was deaf.
Settled at this Japanese Ramen restaurant, i heard about the so called japanese street where there is a huge variety of quality jap food.
In the end, the street(which was supposed to be a whole stretch) was short and disappointing.
There were a few jap restaurants in that "street" and the ramen one has the shortest waiting time, cos it was queue-less unlike the rest which had quite a queue waiting outside.
Despite being seemingly less popular then the rest, the quality of the food amazed me.
The ramen was marvelous, have u ever tasted ajisen ramen?
This was comparable if not better.
And it comes with side dishes which were....heavenly.
I love japanese food!
Furthermore, the restaurant had the feel of a real japanese ramen streetside stall, the seats are quite cramped and there is the chef whipping up the ramen at an observable distance.
U get what i mean?
The ramen stall in japanese anime or manga.
Lastly, the price wasn't exorbitant, it was <$20.
XD.
After dinner, toured the rest of JP and went home with chewy junior(lovely donut like things that i cant stop buying).

The next day, i had to climb out of bed early for a lan gaming session.
I was late, for your info, i was late for all the activities this whole week!
My week was simply too extraordinary that i could not have enough sleep.
Tried L4D(left 4 dead) 2 for the first time.
A whole new set of characters facing the zombie apocalypse.
The game producers added a whole new set of weapons and a few new zombies types in, there was also this new tasks the team had to compete in order to clear the stage.
Its no long the "no brainer" zombie massacre while the team "chiong" to the safe house game i used to play in L4D(1).
As the task were quite lame and draggy, it was less fun i suppose.
However, we managed to squeeze in a game of the ever classical dota into the session...
and i won!
Finally, i appeased by vengeance for losing 3 times in a row the previous weekend.

Correspondingly, the dota fervor started.
We went home, got garena booted up, and begin the online dota sensation.
Dota has once again returned to my life, it has been a year.
=).

On staurday, there was soccer.
As i said, i was horribly late.
We were supposed to meet at 8 and i woke up at 8.30am!
But soccer was good.
For this week, cy is back.
He was all over the place hounding the opponents as usual and the games were less of a walk over.
Played the entire morning until it rained, then i went home.
Felt like sleeping but i could not as i was heading to shop at 3.
The three of us including someone that cannot stop eating went to Bugis, and unsurprisingly the first thing he wanted to do when we reached was eat.
Is there an abyss at the end of his throat?
Following that was shopping time.
The same person gave me a shock with his astounding choice of clothes.
Who would pick a dirty green and pure white jersey( at topshop) at first glance when there is a whole array of vibrant colours right before you?
tsk tsk tsk.
I could not standby such atrocities and had to rectify it.
Not that i am very good with fashion, i am just giving my share of insights on dressing.

After a bit of shopping, where i bought nothing, and touring Illuma for the first time we walked down plaza sing.
Had Carl's junior, which was rather disappointing as the beef chill fries that day was below expectation.
The beef chill fries i had at marina square was unforgettable.
Then, we went back to amk and to my dismay there were no movie slots.
I have not watched 2012! =(
One then left, and the remaining two of us scoured the whole amk central for a phone.
My bloody Sony Ericsson walkman phone, the one that vibrates and change song with a shake, walked out on me.
Its barely a year one and it has reached the end of its life.
What a noob phone.
I hate sony ericsson phone, this is the second SE phone that gave me problems within half a year and completely went nonoperational in a year.
Since half a year ago, this phone started auto-restarting every now and then for no reason at all.
It can even restart when its just resting on the table.
Then on this fateful day, i woke up to realise that the call and end call buttons are not functioning, that means i cant answer calls.
Following that, the clear button dies and i cannot correct my sms.
Finally, the whole upper portion buttons of my slide phone went silent.
That means i can't sms, read sms, call or pick up a call.
Only the number pad and the screen were working which is useless as i cant do anything with the numbers entered, and there is nothing useful about watching the screen of a non-touch phone.
I am so against SE phones now.

In the end, i bought a Nokia "army" phone for $59.
There is no camera and no fanciful applications, not even a gallery to view pictures or mp3 function.
But it has a flashlight, and its small and light.
Obviously, it also has the basic functions of a phone which is to call and text.
However, i am so uncomfortable with Nokia now that i am used to SE.
Haiz.

Oh that was the end of saturday, what a flash!
On sunday, i simply rot at home.
Slept to my fill.
Wanted to go to sony ericsson service center but i did not.
But i had so much of dota.
I have had so much of dota lately that i start to dislike facebook games.
Fb games are not entertaining anymore.
Now, it seems to be more of a chore.
I have to login to 8 games daily and "play" them.
U know, visit friends in pet society, harvest-plow-and seed the crops in farmville and more.
And its like so boring, i am doing this just to earn the in-game money and gain levels.
Its not fun, and i wonder why do i need the levels for?
Thus, i decided to stop playing a few games cos its wasting my time and depriving me of sleep as i have to complete these chores before i sleep every night.
This is it, i am stopping farmville and roller coaster kingdom, i am stepping down the intensity of activeness on the rest too until i feel like playing it again.
lol.

Well, thats done.
Now to the last part.
Revealing the answers to the quiz.
The question was, "If i can only play one game either basketball or soccer, which would i choose?"
I know most of u would choose "soccer" as i had expected as i expect myself to choose soccer too.
But after thinking about it seriously, i could go for both.
There are some weeks i dont feel like playing soccer and i crave for basketball, vice verse.
Moreover, the determining factor would usually be the company i play with.
I would rather play a sport i dont really want to play on that day if my close friends want it than join a group who plays something i want to play but i barely know them.
I am really bad with strangers.
Haha, so mr random got it right again.
50-50% chance of playing either game!

Well folks, this has been 3 hours of typing.
Its the truth even if u dont believe.
Lol.
Have a good day!
Scott signs off.
